Chadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-established regional law firm currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Commercial Property team in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to work on a varied and high-quality caseload within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role This is a senior, client-facing position offering the opportunity to lead and support a broad range of commercial property matters.

Responsibilities include:

Advising a diverse client base across sectors including housing and third sector

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of property-related legal documents

Managing complex caseloads and providing strategic legal guidance

Supervising junior team members and offering mentoring support

Engaging in business development and attending networking events

Maintaining technical competence and staying up to date with legal developments

Leading by example in line with SRA competence standards

Candidate Requirements This role is suited to a qualified solicitor or legal executive with:5+ years PQE in commercial property

Experience in the housing sector or with third sector clients (advantageous)
Strong technical legal knowledge and drafting skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

High attention to detail and ability to manage complex caseloadsA proactive, team-oriented approach with leadership capabilities
