Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Job Overview

This role will be working 25 hours per week.

You will ensure the building, communal areas and grounds are kept to high standards of cleanliness and act as a face for the development engaging with the residents to ensure exceptional customer service at all times.

• Cleaning all communal areas thoroughly daily, including polishing, dusting, hovering, and sparkle cleans of apartments for move‑ins.
• Ensure lifts are kept clean and panels streak‑free.
• Litter picking and maintaining cleanliness of internal car park.
• Communal carpet cleaning; experience using cleaning machinery.
• Maintain an open, friendly and helpful approach with all requests, emphasizing resident service.
• Give guidance and assistance to residents in a friendly manner; maintain high customer care and service standards.
• Report H&S issues immediately to your line manager.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists in a timely manner.
• Keep cleaning materials up to date and neatly organised.
• Present a clean and smart appearance at all times.

• Previous experience as a housekeeper or cleaner within hospitality or large‑scale residential property.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and on own initiative, yet follow instructions and rules as required.
• High standards in cleanliness and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment; time‑management skills are key.

If you do not have a Rent Smart Wales qualification, you will be required to complete this course within the first 3 months of starting your role.
