Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, staff rooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Clean and sanitise toilets and washroom facilities
- Wipe down desks, tables, and touchpoints
- Replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet rolls)
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning as required
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the Site Manager
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations
- Ensure school security procedures are followed when opening/closing areas
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Understanding of basic health and safety procedures
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate required
