We at Teaching Personnel are delighted to announce we are now working alongside a primary school in Cardiff who are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our premises. This is a hands‑on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

• Security and general maintenance of the school.
• Ensure the building and grounds are clean, safe, and well‑maintained.
• Carry out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
• Monitor security systems and ensure premises are secure.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling.
• Report any issues or hazards promptly.

• Previous experience in a caretaker or maintenance role is desirable.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
