Regional Pump Engineer

GAP Pump Services provide advice, servicing, maintenance and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions. As a Regional Pump Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the region, ensuring customers can hire what they want, when they need it, through the efficient servicing and maintenance of a variety of pump service equipment within the GAP fleet.

The role is based at our depot in Caerphilly and requires strong local presence.

Key responsibilities include travelling across customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment, including pumps, hoses and generators, while accurately updating service records.

• Proven experience as a pump engineer, mechanical fitter or similar role.
• Experience with in the plant or hire industry is highly beneficial.
• Sound, current knowledge of diesel engines, pumps, hoses or generators; training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, able to work effectively under pressure.
• Customer‑focused approach, workload management and committed team player.
• Valid driving licence.
