Cleaning and Waste Operative

Job Summary

Salary: £13.88 / hour

Hours:

8 hours per day

Shift Pattern: 10pm to 6am, 4 on /4 off

Contract:

Fixed Term

• Work within a warehouse environment as part of the cleaning and waste team.
• Perform general cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products.
• Maintain and ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order.
• React quickly to call‑outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies.
• Manage waste disposal.

• Motivated, reliable and hardworking.
• Flexible approach to the role and comfortable working as part of a team.
• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• Completed a Basic Disclosure Check and may be required to undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.
