A Little More About Your Role… Join WSP’s Global Sustainability Team and play a pivotal role in advancing our sustainability strategy across the UK and EMEIA region. As Head of Corporate Sustainability, you will lead the corporate sustainability program within the region, ensuring regulatory compliance, meeting regional client and market expectations, and aligning with WSP’s global sustainability strategy and objectives. This is a role with the opportunity to influence meaningful change and strengthen WSP’s industry leadership position.

• Lead Regional Programs (~50% of available hours):
  Manage corporate sustainability programs across EMEIA, with a focus on the UK, Central Europe, and the Nordics. In this role, you will lead a small team (~5 FTEs) of sustainability professionals throughout this geographic region, supported by additional shared resource in our GCC sustainability centre of excellence, located in India. You will maintain and enhance our well‑established sustainability programs in the UK and Nordics to meet regulatory and global business requirements, while developing, maturing and expanding the sustainability program for Central Europe and, ultimately, the wider EMEIA region.
• Manage Additional Needs of UK and Ireland Program (~50% of available hours):
  Understand, lead, shape and enable additional corporate activities required by the mature UK&I business to support strategic work winning and client delivery. Lead a small and well‑established team (5 FTEs) with an agreed programme of activities. In 2026, this includes leadership and oversight of project decarbonisation (1 FTE) and social value (4 FTE) where you will support efforts to fulfil WSP’s corporate commitments and client contractual requirements across government and private sector.
  
  This includes some engagement as required with large climate and social value practitioner networks across WSP teams and externally.

• Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
  In collaboration with legal, oversee adherence to regional and local sustainability regulations, prepare sustainability disclosures required under the CSRD in the EU, SECR, ESOS and TCFD in the UK and GHG disclosure requirements in Spain and France.
• Meet Client Expectations:
  Support bid teams in responding to sustainability questionnaires and ensure that regional sustainability objectives align with evolving client expectations.
• Enhance Data Collection and Reporting Processes:
  Ensure global platforms such as Oracle and Amex deliver the required sustainability data to meet regulatory requirements and advance sustainability objectives. Improve efficiency and quality of regional data collection.
• Develop Regional Strategies:
  Translate the global sustainability strategy into actionable plans for EMEIA, aligning with regional priorities, develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and monitor and report compliance activities. Develop or maintain GHG reduction plans and related targets for each country or sub‑region. Monitor and report on sustainability program to regional senior management.
• Engage Leadership:
  Partner with regional leaders and business functions (e.g., legal, HR, workplace, IT) to embed sustainability into business operations and culture. Provide guidance and support to business units to ensure they understand and comply with regulatory requirements and support sustainability objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
