Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Cardiff Crown Court, CF10 3PG
on a permanent basis working 17.5 hours per week. Salary of £12,194.00 per annum and benefits package are offered.
Monday – Friday, 15:30 – 19:00
Responsibilities- Manage cleaning standards to meet contractual obligations.
- Support in self‑auditing to maintain standards.
- Assist with stock management and ordering.
- Deliver toolbox talks.
- Lead and motivate the cleaning team, maximizing their potential.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
- Organise cover for sickness and annual leave.
- Ensure all company policies are followed.
- Create a positive working environment encouraging development and maximising potential of all team members.
- Lead by example and act as a hands‑on trainer to ensure cleaning methodologies are maintained in accordance with the contract.

- Recognise and action performance, both good and poor, appropriately.
Part of the role includes BPSS level vetting, which involves DBS clearance. Ability to pass is essential.
- Identity Verification:
Passport, photo , birth certificate, etc. - Employment History (past 3 years) – gaps may require HMRC statements.
- Right to Work status in the UK – Citizenship or valid share code.
- Unspent Criminal Record – Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
- Significant Periods Abroad – Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

- Previous cleaning experience.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Ideally BICS trained.
- Experience in a leading role.
- Excellent understanding of cleaning processes, materials, and equipment.
