Part time Cleaning Supervisor

Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaning Supervisor to join our team in Cardiff Crown Court, CF10 3PG
on a permanent basis working 17.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12,194.00 per annum and a benefits package.

Monday - Friday 15:30 - 19:00

• Manage standards to meet contractual obligations
• Support self‑auditing to maintain standards
• Manage stock and ordering
• Deliver toolbox talks
• Lead and motivate the cleaning team to enable maximum contribution
• Perform cleaning duties
• Organise cover for sickness/annual leave
• Ensure all company policies are followed
• Create a positive working environment that encourages development and maximises the potential of all team members
• Lead by example and act as a hands‑on train‑the‑trainer to maintain cleaning methodologies in accordance with the contract
• Set an exemplar for company values & behaviours
• Recognise and action performance, both good and poor

To meet our customers' requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government that involves several checks.

• Identity Verification:
  Passport, photo , birth certificate, etc.
• Employment History (past 3 years):
  Any gaps require HMRC statements for the period in question.
• Right to work status in the UK:
  Citizenship or valid share code.
• Unspent criminal record:
  Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
• Significant periods abroad:
  Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

• Previous cleaning experience
• Previous supervisory experience is essential
• Ideally BICS trained
• Experience in a leading role
• Excellent understanding of cleaning processes, materials, and equipment

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance; therefore the ability to pass is essential.
