Account Director

Oxford Pharma Genesis is looking for an experienced Account Director to provide leadership and excellent client service to one of our established publications and medical communications teams.

You will help the team to support several lead clients from a single company that covers both pipeline and marketed therapies in a broad range of therapy areas (cardiovascular, neurological, haematological and rare diseases). With tremendous potential for account growth, a key responsibility of the Account Director will be to accelerate the growth of both the account and the team.

We are looking for someone who has strong mentorship skills in order to embrace our people-first culture. You will be a natural coach who will thrive on developing the skills and experience of our Account Managers to support their career progression.

The team’s client company is a leading innovative biopharmaceutical company with cutting‑edge and fast‑paced projects.

• significant experience in account management leadership in medical communications
• proven mentorship abilities, with experience of supporting and developing other team members
• a strong desire to ensure accurate financial management, including client project budgeting and forecasting
• experience of team resourcing
• the ability to build and maintain strong client and team relationships
• a track record of providing the right solutions to clients
• a can‑do, positive, agile and strategic mindset.

The team is mostly based in our Cardiff office, with some team members working from our other UK offices and some who are fully remote.

As an Account Director, you will be supporting our clients’ successes alongside a motivated team of Scientific Directors, Team Leaders, Account Managers and Account Executives.
