We're now looking for a Training & H&S First Line Manager – Transport to take the lead in developing our people and driving a culture of safety and compliance across our transport operation.

In this pivotal role, you'll champion training excellence and safety standards, ensuring our teams are equipped, compliant, and ready to deliver success every day. Join us and help shape the future of logistics!

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Deliver and manage transport training programmes, including driver inductions, compliance training, and ongoing development to build a highly skilled workforce
  • Drive a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and company standards across all transport activities
  • Work closely with transport leadership to ensure training and safety initiatives align with daily operations
  • Mentor and support drivers and colleagues, ensuring continuous improvement and engagement across the team
  • Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practice, ensuring our operation remains compliant and forward-thinking
  • Support and maintain full adherence to transport legislation, H&S policies, and audit requirements, ensuring the operation remains fully compliant at all times
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Proven background in both Transport operations and Health & Safety (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience leading Continuous Improvement and process optimisation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards, legislation, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Exposure to training delivery and colleague development, with a willingness to build capability in this area
