Safeguarding Adult Partnership Lead

You may have a strong operational safeguarding background and be looking to develop your strategic and project management skills, or you may already have experience of leading complex programmes of work and want to apply those skills within a safeguarding environment.

Working closely with the Safeguarding Partnerships Manager and the Independent Chair of the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB), you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the Board's priorities. You will need to be confident working with senior leaders and professionals from a range of agencies, building relationships, influencing others and driving improvement across the partnership.

This is a varied and rewarding role within the Safeguarding Partnerships Business Unit. While your primary focus will be supporting the Buckinghamshire Safeguarding Adults Board (BSAB), you will be part of a wider team that supports both the safeguarding children and adult partnerships across Buckinghamshire.

Working closely with the Safeguarding Partnerships Manager and Independent Chair, you will coordinate and lead partnership activity to ensure the Board meets its statutory duties and delivers against its priorities. You will oversee the work of the Board's sub-groups, support the development and delivery of strategic priorities, and work with partners across Buckinghamshire to drive continuous improvement.

A key part of the role will be coordinating Safeguarding Adult Reviews from referral through to publication, ensuring learning is shared effectively and translated into meaningful improvements in practice. You will also play a leading role in monitoring progress, tracking actions and supporting the partnership to evidence impact.

No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience of safeguarding, partnership leadership, strategic improvement and multi‑agency working.

Any-Desk:

As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements.

You must have

• An understanding of safeguarding adults legislation and processes, or a willingness to develop this knowledge quickly
• Experience of managing and delivering complex pieces of work
• Confidence in developing and implementing new approaches and ways of working
• Experience of leading work involving multiple agencies and stakeholders
• Experience of leading and facilitating groups, meetings or work streams
• The ability to influence, challenge and support others to improve outcomes
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, engagement and relationship-building skills
