Bodyshop Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and professional Bodyshop Manager to oversee a large automotive accident repair centre in Cardiff. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a motivated Bodyshop Manager seeking to lead and develop a successful bodyshop operation.

50 hours per week, including paid breaks, working Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pmBodyshop Manager Duties:

Overall management of the bodyshop, ensuring operational efficiency and profitability
Lead and develop a large team, including productive staff and front-of-house/customer service personnel
Implement and maintain strict processes for team management, workflow, and customer service standards
Monitor and improve profit margins through effective resource planning and cost control
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Work closely with the Area Manager to achieve business and performance targets
Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of repair quality and service
Manage training and development programmes for staff to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

Proven recent or current experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work
UK driving licence with minimal points
Management experience is preferred but professionals looking to progress will also be considered
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to implement efficient processes and develop operational strategies
