The Into Work Advice Service provides support to people who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded project sand volunteering opportunities.
The Into Work Advice Service manages a number of externally funded employability projects, which is supported by the work of the Quality Team through audits, monitoring and evaluation of each of the programmes.
About the jobThe post will support the Programme Manager to manage a small team of Fidelity and Compliance Officers for the Connect to Work Programme. The post holder will be responsible for managing and implementing the fidelity standards across the region, review practice and gather evidence for fidelity reviews for the externally funded employment project Connect to Work according to DWP guideline.
The postholder is responsible for the monitoring KPI’s against project targets and ensure continuous service improvement across all 10 local authorities in the South East Wales Region. The role is responsible for compiling monitoring information for Senior Council Managers, funding providers Welsh Government and UK government.
What We Are Looking For From YouYou will bring extensive experience of supervising and managing others to include coaching and supporting.
Working knowledge of Fidelity Scales within employability support.
You will have experience of working with unemployed job seekers and people looking to upskill from their current job.
The role requires experience of multi-agency partnership working.
You will have experience of externally funded programmes
The ability to produce progress reports for Senior Managers
You will have the ability to analyse and summarise complex documents and data
You will have experience of new technology including word processing systems, use of spreadsheets and other relevant I.T systems.
This post is temporary until 31/03/2030.

Requests may only be approved by the relevant Director/ Assistant Director/ Chief Officer or senior nominated officer graded no lower than OM2 or in the case of schools based staff the Headteacher / Governing Body.
The post will be required to work from a number of different locations, including Central Library Hub and other community Hub buildings across the South East Wales Region.
