Hillside Clubhouse is looking for an experienced IPS Team Leader to lead our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) SMI service across Islington and as part of the newly merged North West London NHS Trust. You’ll provide leadership, coaching and support to a team of Employment Specialists, ensuring high-quality, recovery focused employment support for people with mental health conditions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a lasting impact. You’ll work closely with NHS partners, employers and local stakeholders while helping to strengthen and develop the service, improve performance and deliver excellent employment outcomes.

• Effectively manage a high-quality service that adheres to the principles of IPS best practice.
• Monitor and manage performance of the IPS Employment Specialists – guide them individually on best practice and achieving individual and team job outcome targets.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify barriers to service excellence and work with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions that support high-fidelity service delivery.
• Support the design and delivery of in-house staff training and development (including facilitating peer learning and best practice).
• Involve service users in co-production of service developments where possible.
• Coordinate the work of Employment Specialists across the service, supporting employer engagement, access to the hidden labour market, partnership working with external agencies and the delivery of job-seeking groups.
• Produce regular monitoring reports for internal and external stakeholders, including commissioners.
• Identify barriers for service excellent and work with internal and external stakeholders to implement solutions to ensure a high-fidelity service.
• Provide solution focused monthly supervisions for each employment specialist within the team, including caseload management.
• Lead the team to ensure Employment Specialists spend enough time in face to face meetings with employers to find the right job match.
• Guide, mentor and coach the team to deliver on employment engagements/job development strategies.
• Ensure quality assurance around client satisfaction. Facilitate opportunities for clients to provide feedback on the service and use this feedback to review and develop service delivery.
• Act as the local IPS expert and champion of fidelity.
• Lead service readiness for IPS fidelity reviews.
• Ensure fidelity principles are embedded in everyday practice.
• Use fidelity findings and quality audits to drive continuous improvement.
