Quality Assurance Manager – Cardiff Council Social Services Cardiff (hybrid) £46,579 – £49,817 Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays) Permanent Hoop Social Work is working with Cardiff Council Social Services to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager. This is a directorate-wide role covering both Children's and Adult Services. The role You'll lead the rollout of a new Quality Assurance and Audit Strategy and put strong QA processes in place across the directorate.

You'll work closely with teams to share good practice, keep standards high and build a "best practice first" culture. What you'll be doing Leading on the Quality Assurance and Audit Strategy for Children's and Adult Services Building and embedding QA processes across the directorate Offering leadership and constructive challenge to team managers and practitioners Spotting where policy and practice can improve, then leading the changes Sharing good practice across the workforce and raising expectations of quality What you'll bring A social work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register) Solid post-qualifying experience and a real belief in the value of social work Experience managing others Confidence to challenge and influence at manager level Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills Comfort working somewhere fast-paced with a focus on improving services Good to know The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check It's open to post share (job share) Applications are welcome in English or Welsh Interested?
