Quality Control Technician

Join Cytiva as a Quality Control Technician in Cardiff, Wales. You will perform in‑process testing and inspections of medical devices, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The role reports to the Quality Control Team Leader and is an on‑site position that follows a shift pattern. A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure are essential.

• Operate testing equipment according to Work Instructions, hourly targets, and safety requirements.
• Document and report test results—promptly addressing non‑conformances.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience working in a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision, using own initiative.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery.

• Proficient in using measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Previous experience within a quality control environment/ISO 9001/ISO 13485/Pharma regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Able to make reasoned and objective decisions when necessary.
