Our client, a manufacturer of pro sportswear and team wear for sports clubs, is looking for a Production Merchandiser to join the team at their Hertfordshire offices.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and scheduling production and book factories capacities
- Place Purchase Orders with factories
- Negotiating prices with suppliers and shipping companies
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers, leading weekly check in meetings and overseeing production status reports
- Hold meetings with sales team to update on status of all the orders and deliveries, and to ensure launch dates are met
- Work closely with design and product developers to build the critical path and ensure key dates are met
- Working together with the shipping company to arrange sea freight/airfreight
- Experience in a similar role
- Ideally, experience in sportswear
- Good Excel abilities
- Can-do attitude
- Target-focused team player
