The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Assistant Town Planner who is eager to grow, collaborate and contribute to exciting projects. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build experience across multiple sectors and disciplines, supporting the delivery of high‑quality planning and development outcomes. Your work may include supporting statutory consents, developing business cases, providing policy advice, undertaking research, building evidence bases, contributing to impact assessments and evaluation, and exploring opportunities in digital planning.

Is this role for you?

We are looking for an Assistant Town Planner with potential for gaining experience across a wide range of sectors and disciplines, including but not limited to the following:

  • Statutory consents
  • Business case development
  • Policy advice and development
  • Research and evidence base development
  • Impact assessment and evaluation
  • Digital planning

Our town planners work collaboratively with specialists from a wide range of backgrounds, including environmental, design, energy, sustainability, legal, costing, engineering and infrastructure, and transactions to ensure our advice is pragmatic and delivers value.
