Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all production activities, ensuring delivery meets safety, quality, cost, and schedule expectations across maintenance and refurbishment operations
Oversee day-to-day production and short-term planning, adapting workflows to meet changing customer and technical requirements
Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and performance standards aligned with wider business objectives
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and performance
Manage budgets, optimise resources, and ensure cost control while delivering value for the business
Set, monitor, and report on KPIs to maintain strong governance, performance tracking, and delivery assurance
Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to build capability and promote a high-performance, continuous improvement cultureRequirements

Experience working in a production or operations management role.

Experience of working in rolling stock or traction sector.
Leadership qualifications and management experience.
NEBOSH General.
