Production Operative (Semi‑Skilled)

£13.22 per hour + shift premium (Total £17.18 per hour)

Monday to Thursday | 10:30pm – 8:30am

Full training provided.

We are currently recruiting for a Semi‑Skilled Production Operative to join a successful manufacturing business in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing experience who are looking to develop their skills within a supportive and growing organisation.

As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring components are prepared, processed, and inspected in line with company standards and customer requirements. The role involves a variety of production tasks, including preparation work, surface treatment processes, and quality inspection activities.

• Carefully handle and move components throughout the production process to prevent damage.
• Complete all production and process documentation accurately.
• Prepare components prior to processing in accordance with work instructions.
• Remove masking materials from production parts.
• Clean components using specified materials and methods.
• Carry out visual inspections to ensure products meet required quality standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and work to production deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn new processes.
