£30,000

Whether you've recently graduated or have a few years of experience behind you, our Manufacturing Graduate Programme will give you the opportunity to build a career in one of the UK's largest steel manufacturing organisations.

Over 2 years, you'll gain hands on experience across Production, Engineering and Process Engineering, whilst working alongside experienced professionals. By rotating through these three key disciplines, you will gain an insight into each one whilst developing a broad range of skills and experience.

During your time with us, you'll learn how to...

  • Understand the full steel production process, from raw materials through to finished products
  • Plan, prioritize, schedule, and manage mechanical activities (i.e. planned maintenance programs, shutdowns or emergency repairs) to minimize breakdowns and malfunctions
  • Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve performance, quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineers, managers and operational teams to solve problems and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop your technical, leadership and communication skills

7 Steel UK is a challenging environment, but one where you will have continuous opportunities to learn and develop your skills. You'll gain exposure to some of the largest and most complex equipment in the industry, whilst receiving structured training, mentorship and support throughout the programme.

At the end of the programme, we'll work with you to identify the discipline where your strengths, interests and potential can deliver the greatest value, helping you build a long-term career.
