Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30-15:00 | Friday, 06:00-14:00

We are currently recruiting for several experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication professionals to join a growing manufacturing operation in support of increased production capacity and continued business growth.
These are exciting opportunities to join an expanding fabrication team, with positions available across Turret Punch, Brake Press and Guillotine operations.
The successful candidates will play an important role in strengthening the fabrication function, improving production flow and supporting the wider manufacturing operation. The client is open to considering candidates with different areas of specialist experience, so you do not need to have experience across every area to be considered.
Experience with in a busy production or manufacturing environment would be highly beneficial, alongside a strong understanding of safe working practices, quality standards and working accurately to engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Set and operate turret punch machinery to produce accurate sheet metal components.
- Select appropriate tooling and check material specifications.
- Work accurately from engineering drawings and job requirements.
- Carry out first-off and ongoing quality checks.
- Ensure components are produced safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Set and operate brake press machinery to fold and form sheet metal components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Select the correct tooling for each job.
- Carry out first-off and ongoing inspection checks.
- Ensure finished components meet required dimensional and quality standards.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times.
- Operate guillotine cutting equipment to cut sheet metal accurately and safely.
- Check material type and thickness before production.
- Follow cutting lists, drawings and production requirements.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the cutting process.
- Inspect finished cuts to ensure they match required standards.
- Handle materials safely and support good housekeeping within the fabrication area.
We are interested in hearing from candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Turret punch operation
- Brake press operation
- Guillotine operation
- Machine setting and operating
- Working from engineering drawings
- Manufacturing or production environments
- Quality inspection and dimensional checks
- Safe handling of sheet metal and materials
Candidates with strong experience in a particular area of sheet metal fabrication are encouraged to apply, even if they do not have experience across all three disciplines.
