Reed Engineering are recruiting for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician on behalf of a leading heavy industrial manufacturer near Cardiff. This is an opportunity to join a well-established site, working on a range of production and process equipment in a safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical fault finding and repairs across production plant and site services
- Planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities
- Maintenance of motors, drives, control panels and instrumentation systems
- Calibration and testing of sensors, transmitters and process controls
- Supporting plant start-ups, shutdowns and commissioning projects
- Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Working closely with operations to maximise plant reliability and uptime
The successful candidate will be a proactive engineer with strong fault-finding capabilities, excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
