Shape communication that make a real difference to our members

Within this truly dynamic position you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the business contact strategy and/or industry campaigns across all channels for your specific area. You will manage the planning, delivery and optimisation of customer communications to meet channel, product, brand and business plans.

The ideal individual must have experience of delivering email or direct mail communications including an understanding of 121 communication data best practices.

You will be accountable for the development and production of marketing communications. This includes identifying objectives and evaluation mechanisms for all communication activities, reporting on performance against these measures and identifying opportunities for improvements.

Working closer with internal stakeholders, you will also provide consultancy and advice to the broader business on business communications best practice.

• The candidate will have experience across a number of channels, one of which must include experience in either email or direct mail 121 communication development.
• Good understanding of regulatory framework within financial services.
• Needs to be a good communicator and have the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and 3rd Party Email platform (like Dot Digital).
• Commercially astute business manager with strong marketing experience, preferably within financial services.
• Delivery and evaluation of communications activities and marketing campaigns demonstrating a commitment to improvement in the use of communication tools and working efficiently and effectively.
• A track record in tracking communication campaigns through to converted sales.
• Demonstrable experience of managing external creative communications/development and media agencies on a day-to-day basis.

• Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
• An understanding of the financial services regulatory framework.
