Senior Communications and Content Executive

As Senior Communications and Content Executive you will play a key role in Tŷ Hafan’s dynamic and friendly marketing team. You will collect and creating compelling and engaging content to optimise the performance of marketing and communications campaigns for both internal and external audiences.

In this role you will have a particular focus on supporter communications, including copywriting for email, web content and our supporter magazine Cwtch, and you will also lead on the delivery of internal comms, all with the overarching aim of supporting Tŷ Hafan to achieve its strategic objectives so that no family has to live their child’s short life alone.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications and Content Manager and other internal stakeholders to create and implement a content strategy. This will, in turn, support the delivery of the Marketing & Comms strategy, which underpins the organisation strategy and ensures alignment of key messages across communications channels.

It goes without saying that you will need to be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to suit each audience. Specifically, we need you to be able to offer demonstrable experience of improving the performance of marketing communications, specifically email performance and supporter communications.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Significant experience of creating and delivering high-quality supporter or customer emails through an Email Service Provider e.g. Dot Digital and of building automated emails journeys through these platforms.
• Experience of producing compelling and emotive written communications which drive engagement and inspire action across social media, print and press releases. Experience of delivering engaging and inspiring internal communications and of encouraging improved internal communications across an organisation is also key.
• Experience of providing guidance and advice on the implementation of tone of voice and language guidelines to other colleagues is also key.
• The ability to develop creative solutions to problems and implements innovative ideas.
• The ability to ensure accuracy in complex tasks and be able to identify and address errors and ensures work is at a consistently high level.
• The skills to be able to analyse data, identify trends and develop insights to inform decision making and be able to successfully prioritise a high workload with competing demand, adjusting priorities based on changing needs.
