Citizen Engagement Manager - Temporary

As a Citizen Engagement Manager, you will work with committee clerks, researchers, Members, organisations and participants to plan and deliver qualitative, accessible and ethical citizen engagement. This may include individual interviews, group interviews, qualitative surveys, advisory groups, deliberative sessions and online engagement. You will select the right approach for each inquiry, taking account of the committee’s scrutiny needs, the people it needs to hear from, accessibility requirements, ethical considerations and the time available.

The role involves supporting engagement throughout the lifecycle of a committee inquiry: building trusted relationships with participants, gatekeepers and organisations across Wales; producing clear engagement materials; supporting participants before, during and after engagement; analysing qualitative evidence; drafting published findings reports; and helping committees use lived‑experience evidence in their scrutiny, reports, recommendations and follow‑up work.

This is a full-time post although flexible working arrangements will be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the Senedd and its Members.

Please note recruitment will normally be at the minimum of the band. The successful candidate will be subject to security vetting.
