We are looking to recruit an Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (ANNP). The suitable candidate will be a highly skilled professional responsible for the comprehensive care of newborns admitted to the neonatal unit. The role is based in neonatal intensive care and involves shift work to deliver round‑the‑clock care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of newborns admitted to the neonatal unit and transitional care areas.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and management of ventilated patients.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice, in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Provide expert guidance and support to nursing staff, junior doctors, and allied health professionals.
• Educate and support families, offering counselling and information on neonatal conditions and treatments.
• Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects within the neonatal unit.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and promote a culture of safety and excellence in care.

• Master's degree in advanced nursing practice.
• Extensive neonatal experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not mandatory;
  Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome.
