We’re looking for a Senior QC to join the Club L London Quality Control team, based at our Middlewich distribution centre.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who is product obsessed, technically strong and passionate about getting the detail right. You’ll play an important role in protecting the quality of our product.

Working closely with the QC Manager, Returns, Customer Service, Product and Garment Technology teams, you’ll help identify product issues, understand the root cause and turn findings into actions that improve quality and reduce returns.

You’ll also support and guide the wider QC team, helping to create a consistent, efficient and commercially focused approach to quality across the business.

• Support the QC Manager in maintaining and continually improving quality standards across Club L London and our wider brand portfolio.
• Develop a strong understanding of Club L London’s product handwriting, including fit, garment construction, fabrics, branding and overall quality expectations.
• Inspect incoming stock in line with agreed AQL 2.5 standards, ensuring product meets the required quality standards before reaching the customer.
• Apply the correct inspection and quality standards depending on the brand, product and customer requirements.
• Use goods‑in information, returns data, customer feedback, complaints and known product issues to identify where additional or targeted checks are required.
• Identify quality and construction issues quickly and accurately, understanding the potential impact on the customer and the business.
• Work closely with the Returns team to identify recurring product issues and feed meaningful product insights back to the wider team.
• Support the QC Manager with returns, non‑conformance and supplier performance reporting, helping turn data into clear actions.
• Ensure all non‑conformances are accurately recorded and communicated, supporting supplier chargebacks where appropriate.
• Work closely with the QC at source team to ensure the AQL process is consistent, efficient and effective.
• Communicate quality issues clearly with suppliers and support them in understanding the required improvements.
• Build strong relationships with Product, Garment Technology, Customer Service, Returns and DC teams to ensure issues are resolved quickly.
• Share feedback on supplier performance, highlighting both areas of concern and high‑performing suppliers to support future product development and sourcing decisions.
• Support the QC Manager with monthly reporting and analysis of AQL performance.
• Help drive continuous improvement projects focused on quality and returns reduction, looking at the root cause rather than simply identifying the issue.
• Provide guidance and support to QC support staff, the seamstress and Returns Team Leaders.
• Ensure all quality checks are completed accurately and within agreed KPIs and critical timelines.
• Communicate confidently and effectively through email, telephone and video calls.

• Previous experience in Quality Control, Garment Technology or a similar technical fashion role.
• Strong understanding and practical experience of AQL and garment inspection.
