Behavioural Lab Research Associate
The Social Science Research Park (SPARK) at Cardiff University is seeking to appoint a highly‑motivated researcher to support the newly created SPARK Behavioural Lab housed within the sbarc
Ispark building.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity for a researcher with a passion for interdisciplinary behavioural research. The successful candidate will work closely with the Academic Lead – SPARK Behavioural Lab and collaborate with academics and researchers across the University and with non‑academic partners who are interested in conducting behavioural experiments.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is an ambitious and entrepreneurial researcher who is enthusiastic about the contribution of behavioural research and experimentation
- Is excited to contribute to a dynamic, collaborative interdisciplinary community at Cardiff University
- Can proactively promote the Lab’s capabilities to researchers within and beyond the university, fostering collaboration and increasing engagement
The successful post holder is expected to have experience with the processing of collecting behavioural data and commonly used behavioural and analytical software.
This post is part‑time (0.5 FTE, 17.5 hours per week) and fixed term until 31 July 2028.
Salary: £41,064 – £46,049 per annum, pro rata for hours worked (Grade
6)
