An opportunity has arisen to join this UKCRC registered trials unit as a Research Associate (Trial Manager), contributing to the successful delivery of funded trials and other clinical trials/research studies within the centre portfolio.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the successful delivery of funded trials and other clinical trials/research studies within the centre portfolio.
- Organise, prioritise and meet deadlines, maintaining excellent organisational skills.
- Ensure compliance with scientific principles and current legal, governance and ethical requirements of both Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) and non-IMP trials.
- Manage research data using appropriate software.
- PhD level degree or relevant experience.
- Excellent organiser with proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience conducting and organising multi-centre studies and/or research in a health environment.
- Experience writing protocols and patient materials.
- Knowledge of scientific principles and current legal, governance and ethical requirements of trials.
- Experience in research data management using appropriate software.
This position is full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term until 30 June 2027, available from 1 July 2026. The post is subject to a review process and may be extended or converted to open-ended. The role is eligible to be offered on a blended working basis.
Salary & BenefitsSalary: £41,064 - £46,049 per annum (Grade
