Research Associate, CASCADE
Cardiff University School of Social Sciences is seeking a full‑time Research Associate to work within the Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE). The role is a 24‑month fixed‑term post based on a three‑year mixed‑methods study funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), focused on developing a complex systems approach to child harms.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high‑quality research and data analysis using linked administrative data.
- Contribute to the overall research performance of the CASCADE research team.
- Support the mixed‑methods study exploring public health approaches to child harms.
- Assist in developing and applying a complex systems approach to child harms.
- Fixed‑term: 24 months
- Full time: 35 hours per week
- Salary: £41,064 – £46,049 per annum (Grade
6), with annual increments up to the top of the grade.
