Hospitality & Catering School Chef Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire Up to £13.77 ​/ hour

Based at Drakelow Park Flying High Academy, DE15 9UA
, you will be working 22.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 1:30pm, term time only. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving high quality school meals while supporting the smooth day to day operation of the kitchen.

• Preparing and serving nutritious meals in line with menu specifications
• Supporting the daily operation of the kitchen and maintaining service standards
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient catering service
• Following food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety requirements
• Assisting with stock control and helping to minimise waste
• Completing records in line with company procedures
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen

• Experience working within a catering environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A reliable team player with a positive attitude
• The ability to organise workloads and work efficiently under pressure

• Strong organisational and time management skills
