Retail Supervisor – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Pentwyn, Cardiff. The role is a permanent part‑time position with a minimum of 24 hours per week, typically across a variety of shifts, including some weekend work.

• Pay: £13.11 per hour (minimum £314 per week with possible overtime)

• Support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide great service to customers
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence: ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries processed quickly, and shop routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy environment
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants
• Take responsibility for controlling operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• People-oriented, able to build strong working relationships with teammates and customers
• Trustworthy and reliable, as you will be an important part of a small team
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is beneficial, but not essential – we welcome applicants who are ready to take the first steps in a retail management career
