We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Pentwyn, Cardiff. We offer a permanent part time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 24 hours work each week, generally including some weekend work.

Hourly rate £13.61 with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week, earning at least £326 per week. Overtime may be available.

• Support the manager in leading the team, running an efficient shop and providing excellent customer service.
• Run the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are handled promptly, and shop routines are maintained for safety, cleanliness, and tidiness.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop the retail assistant team.
• Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.

• Friendly, positive, and hardworking approach.
• People‑oriented, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable, dependable in a small team environment.
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is desirable but not required.
• Completed Employment Verification and Basic DBS or Disclosure Scotland check if offered the position.

Part‑time work provides flexibility for students or those balancing family commitments. Longevity may lead to promotion to Shop or Area Manager roles through Farmfoods’ training programmes.
