Join the fast‑growing Evri Parcel Shop team as a Business Development Executive and play a key role in expanding and strengthening our network across Northampton, Cambridge and Peterborough.
In this agile, fast‑paced role, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your territory commercially and creatively, building strong relationships with retailer partners while driving service excellence, performance improvement and network growth. You’ll be responsible for recruiting new Parcel shop locations, supporting existing retailers to deliver outstanding customer experience, and helping to ensure every Parcel shop operates safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.
This is a field‑based role where travel is required daily across your territory (Northampton, Cambridge and Peterborough), occasionally to other areas of the UK if needed.
The ideal candidate will be geographically located within these locations e.g. Bedford, etc.

What You’ll DoYou’ll manage a defined Parcel Shop territory, identifying opportunities to grow coverage, support retailer performance and improve service quality. You’ll work closely with local retailers and internal stakeholders to drive commercial success and deliver a consistent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a defined Parcel Shop territory and maintain a regular visit cycle with stores
- Identify and recruit new Parcel Shop locations that meet operational requirements
- Support existing retailers to improve performance against agreed KPI targets
- Use reporting and MI to review retailer performance and drive continuous improvement
- Motivate and engage Parcel Shop retailers to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure Parcel Shop processes, equipment and branding standards are understood and followed
- Promote local retailer activity and increase awareness of Parcel Shop services
- Train retailers on the correct use of Evri equipment and Parcel Shop processes
- Ensure health and safety standards are in place, with parcels stored safely and securely
- Analyse retailer, enquiry and claims data to identify issues and opportunities
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to line management and relevant stakeholders
- Complete retailer administration accurately, including insurance and public liability documentation
- Sell additional Parcel Shop services where appropriate to meet business targets
- Represent Evri Parcel Shops professionally, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
- Manage time effectively to ensure full productivity and strong territory coverage
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring a strong commercial mindset, confidence working with data, and the ability to influence and support retailer partners.
Essential experience and skills- Current UK driving licence (must be able to drive)
- Previous experience of coaching, supporting and motivating colleagues or partners
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to plan effective solutions
- Customer‑focused approach with excellent relationship‑building skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different people and situations
- Confident using data, reports and basic Excel
- Strong influencing skills, both internally and externally
- Proven ability to take ownership and see issues through to resolution
- Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently
- Commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically in a busy operational environment
- Track record of delivering results, increasing performance or achieving targets
