The RoleWe are looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic Jewellery & Antiques Buyers to join our team, providing valuations and making offers at our nationwide roadshow events.
This is a varied, customer-facing role where no two days are the same. You’ll meet people from all walks of life, assess unique items, and buy directly from members of the public across the UK.
If you have a keen eye for value, enjoy meeting people, and have a passion for antiques and jewellery, this could be the perfect role for you.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities- Attending 3–4 roadshow events per week to value and purchase items from the public.
- Travelling to event locations, usually within a 90-minute drive time of your location
- Providing a professional and friendly experience to every customer.
- Making fair offers and negotiating where needed.
- Working closely with fellow buyers as part of a team.
- Using your knowledge to identify value and make smart buying decisions.
- Strong interest in areas such as Gold, Jewellery, Silver, Cameras, Toys, Militaria
, and other collectibles. - Friendly, trustworthy, and confident with customers.
- Professional and comfortable in a customer-facing role.
- Willing to stay away overnight when required.
- Experience buying and/or selling antiques, jewellery, or similar items.
- Confident negotiator with good commercial awareness.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.

The base salary for this position is £30,000 p.a. + commission
