Trade Parts Sales Representative (Field-Based) – Cardiff, CF11
Salary: £28,000 basic salary + bonus (OTE £35,000) + company car
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
Term: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
Renault Cardiff is seeking a Trade Parts Sales Representative to join our established Trade Parts Hub in Cardiff on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a field-based, client- and business customer-facing role focused on B2B sales of branded automotive parts, accessories and consumables from our core brands Renault, Dacia and Alpine. The territory covers Cardiff’s CF postcodes and neighbouring NP, SA and HR areas, working with existing trade customers and cultivating new business opportunities.
The role involves developing and nurturing long-term relationships with a broad customer base, managing accounts with care and attention while identifying opportunities to grow sales and profitability.
Responsibilities- Visit customer premises and welcome clients to the Trade Parts Hub in Cardiff.
- Represent the business at trade events or exhibitions.
- Support parts deliveries when covering parts driver colleagues; adjust routes and timing to coincide with diarised rep visits to relevant clients.
- Develop trust and deliver a consistently positive customer experience by understanding needs and providing solutions.
- Build and manage relationships with a diverse customer base to grow sales and profitability.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, field sales, account management or automotive parts is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate transferable skills and the right mindset.
- Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a collaborative, target-driven environment.
- Customer-focused approach and genuine interest in developing professional relationships.
- Basic salary £28,000 per annum with a monthly bonus scheme enabling on-target earnings of £35,000 per annum or more.
