Job Overview

Howden is actively looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join the commercial team in Whitchurch, Cardiff. The role involves developing relationships with existing clients and growing commercial accounts for businesses ranging from sole traders to MD/CEO level.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Grow commercial accounts across various business sizes.
  • Work closely with the Development Director to meet growth objectives.
  • Identify and explore new business opportunities to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience winning new business and building long‑lasting B2B client relationships.
  • Passion for business development through marketing, community engagement, networking, and client meetings.
  • Tenacious, curious, and able to identify new opportunities.
  • Strong consultative skills with the ability to actively listen and understand client requirements.
  • Willingness to learn; adaptable to varying daily tasks.
