  • Responsible for driving intermediary Bridging and Buy to let sales across broker firms located in the North Region. The role focuses on maximising origination levels for UTB by developing strong, productive relationships with key intermediary partners.
  • Alongside commercial delivery, the position provides proactive leadership in the region—continually enhancing service standards, strengthening broker engagement, and ensuring a high‑quality experience for all introducers.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary relationship manager for key broker firms across the North, ensuring consistent engagement and strong commercial partnerships.
  • Build, nurture, and strategically manage broker relationships to optimise originations and support delivery of the bank’s lending targets.
  • Segment the Northern broker network (Tier 1–3) to drive an effective and targeted contact strategy.
  • Maintain a structured weekly schedule of broker meetings to develop trust, credibility, and long‑term collaboration.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge across UTB’s Bridging and Buy to let propositions, including criteria, processes, and service standards.
  • Deliver exceptional service to introducers, consistently exceeding expectations.
Skills and Experience sought
  • Background in Bridging or Buy‑to‑Let business development is preferred, though strong BDM experience in other financial services areas, such as residential lending or commercial finance will also be considered.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in a business development or intermediary‑facing role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborative mindset, demonstrating a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to shared team objectives.
