A market-leading HVAC and BMS controls distributor is looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Internal Sales Executive to join its successful team in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist business with over 35 years of industry success and national coverage. Backed by a £1 billion UK distribution group employing over 2,000 people nationwide, the company combines the stability of a large organisation with the culture and expertise of a specialist distributor.
You'll inherit an established customer base, receive comprehensive product training and play a key role in driving sales growth across a wide range of HVAC and building controls solutions. Working closely with contractors, distributors, system integrators and FM companies, you'll build long-term customer relationships while developing your technical expertise and commercial skills.

Role Responsibilities
Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts
Build strong relationships with contractors, distributors, system integrators and end users
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
Produce quotations and provide technical product solutions
Work closely with the external sales team to maximise opportunities and drive revenue growth
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to strengthen the product offering and improve profitability
Deliver profitable sales growth across your customer base
Monitor market activity and identify potential opportunities
Maintain accurate customer and sales records Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Experience in internal sales, account management, customer service or B2B sales
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive and commercially focused approach
The ability to identify opportunities and develop business
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Experience with in HVAC, BMS, electrical, engineering, industrial or technical products would be advantageous but is not essential
