SME Account Executive

I'm working with a well-established independent insurance broker in South Wales that is looking to appoint an SME Account Executive to join its growing team. This is a desk-based role where you'll manage the full client journey, giving you complete ownership of your portfolio from day one.

You'll be responsible for handling incoming new business enquiries, placing cover, processing mid-term adjustments, managing renewals, debt chasing and providing ongoing support to your clients. With no dedicated administration support, you'll have full control over your accounts and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships. You'll inherit an established portfolio across approximately 400 SME clients, covering a diverse range of businesses including property owners, trades, shops and offices.

There is also plenty of scope to grow the portfolio through cross-selling, upselling and converting incoming new business enquiries, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing existing relationships as well as identifying new opportunities.
