To lead and manage the delivery of a structured work programme to achieve and maintain Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Level 2 accreditation. The postholder will ensure all required documentation, policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks are developed and embedded to meet accreditation standards, while acting as a key point of contact for GDPR and outsourced cyber security matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the project management of the work programme to achieve Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Level 2 accreditation.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed.
- Complete and coordinate all documentation required to support cyber security accreditations.
- Develop, review, and implement policies and procedures to meet accreditation and compliance requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) queries and support compliance across the organisation.
- Support aspects of Data Protection Officer (DPO) functions as required.
- Act as the main point of contact for queries relating to outsourced cyber security arrangements, ensuring effective contract and supplier oversight.
- Monitor ongoing compliance requirements and ensure standards are maintained post-accreditation.
- Report progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Proven knowledge and practical experience of cyber security accreditations, specifically Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Level 2.
- Demonstrable project management experience, delivering complex work programmes to agreed deadlines.
- Experience developing and implementing policies and procedural documentation.
- Experience of GDPR compliance and supporting DPO-related functions.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers or contracts, ideally within a cyber security context.
