Successful applicants will start with a salary of £26,475. Annual pay progression is available through the Competency Based Framework (CBF) if eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage individuals on probation before and after sentence.
  • Implement sentencing decisions and support offender management.
  • Produce detailed reports and case documentation.
  • Provide case‑management support using service procedures and practice directions to underpin professional judgement.

Recruitment Process

Applicants will complete a short application form and respond to Civil Service behaviours and experience-based questions.

Applicants will sit the Civil Service Judgement Test (CSJT). Candidates who pass will proceed to further assessment and, if successful, interview.

Candidates will be kept informed at each stage of the process, though progression is not guaranteed.
