Job Description & How to Apply Below

Here for people. Here for communities. Here for you.

Make a real impact every day as a Project Night Worker at Hafod.

We’re looking for compassionate, person‑centred and resourceful people to join our team. You’ll assist in the provision of a full range of support services to Young People with complex needs within a Supported Housing Project.

This role is 25 hours per week covering Saturday and Sunday evenings.

It’s hands on rewarding work where you can genuinely make a difference to the people you support, and no two days are ever the same.

We put people first, offering great training, supportive teams and opportunities to grow your career in Support.

What you’ll be doing
  • Provide night cover and work as part of a team to support and assist Young People in their Supported Accommodation environment.
  • Ensure that support is provided in a manner which enables the Young People to feel safe in their own home and able to live independently.
  • Create a safe, stable, and supportive living environment where young people feel secure in their home.
  • Build positive and professional relationships with young people, promoting their personal development and wellbeing.

You can find the full job description attached for a more detailed overview of the role.

What you’ll bring
  • A compassionate, trauma informed and can‑do approach, with a genuine desire to support people.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build trust, listen and work positively with others.
  • Reliability and willingness to learn, with confidence to engage with customers, colleagues and stakeholders to enable good outcomes for customers.
  • Emotional resilience, problem solving skills and an ability to work in a strengths‑based way, especially when supporting customers with varied and complex needs.

Previous housing related support experience isn’t essential, your compassion, reliability and desire to help others are what count. We’ll teach you what you need, and you’ll have the chance to complete a range of training and development activities to build your knowledge and practice toolkit.
