Cardiff University's Student Disability Service seeks to appoint a Disability Practitioner to support information, guidance and support offered to disabled students. This post is open only to employees of Cardiff University.

• Provide initial consultations, information and guidance to disabled students.
• Deliver direct responses to support issues and refer complex cases to Disability Advisers.
• Support students with Specific Learning Difficulty screening and assessments, develop support plans.
• Assist with Disabled Students Allowance applications and related support issues.

• Professional knowledge of disability support.
• Experience working in higher education.

• Part‑time: 21 hours per week.
• Fixed‑term until 10 June 2027 to cover a staff member on maternity leave, commencing 10 June 2026.
• Salary: £33,951 – £36,636 per annum, pro‑rata for hours worked (Grade 5).
