Position: SPECIALIST WOMENS CASE CO-ORDINATOR

Cardiff Councils Support and Accommodation Service provide accommodation, advice and support to vulnerable single people and families in housing need.

Our services run 24/7 365 days a year.

Due to the Covid
19 pandemic, our service has had to make large changes and the successful candidates will contribute to the expansion of the service within.

About the job

The Specialist Women’s Case Co-ordinator will be responsible for:

Providing an assertive and needs led support service to women with complex needs, including those sleeping rough.

To manage a caseload of complex individuals ensuing holistic assessments are undertaken and appropriate accommodation is secured.

To act as an advocate for women accessing the service at various partnership meetings and to work in partnership to secure long-term positive placements.

To support the wider service area as required.

This is an exciting opportunity and we are looking for a variety of people from various working backgrounds to make a real difference. Proven experience of working with people with complex behaviours and an understanding of the issues faced by homeless individuals will be an advantage

The working environment can be challenging so the ability to remain calm under pressure will be an advantage. The role will require the successful candidate to support the management team with all aspects of the service.
