Whatyou will do
- – Assist people to resolve major difficulties in their lives and enhance their independence and coping skills.
- – Work within current legislation and council policy to assess, commission, and review services for a specific client group.
- – Collaborate within the statutory guidance framework to protect those at risk or vulnerable.
- – Develop systems to ensure quality of service across the city and identify individuals particularly at risk.
- – Empower clients to express their needs and contribute to service planning.
- – Enable individuals, families, and communities to make informed decisions for improved service planning.
- – Assess needs, risks, and options considering legal and other requirements, including child protection.
- – Manage and prioritise workload responsibly using professional judgement.
- – Contribute to the development of multi-agency approaches to enhance service delivery.
- – Degree or equivalent in social work.
- – Current Social Care Wales registration.
- – Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
- – Experience working with adults requiring mental health support services.
- – Experience in supervising staff is advantageous.
