Community Safety Manager - 1-2 Month Cover (via Moxie People)
Caerphilly Patch | 1-2 months | £25.12ph | 37 hours | ASAP start
Moxie People are supporting a well‑regarded housing provider in South Wales who are looking for an experienced ASB / Community Safety professional to step in on a short‑term basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong ASB, legal casework and tenancy enforcement experience who can hit the ground running and manage a busy caseload from day one.
What you'll be doing
You’ll lead on ASB and tenancy breach case management across the Caerphilly patch, working directly with tenants, partner agencies and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively. This is a frontline role where you’ll be out in the community most days, with one office day every fortnight in Newport (usually Wed/Thurs).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing ASB cases from first report through to resolution
- Preparing legal casework and attending court
- Gathering accurate evidence and maintaining GDPR‑compliant records
- Applying Renting Homes (Wales) Act in tenancy enforcement and decision‑making
- Supporting victims and witnesses, including safety planning and referrals
- Liaising with Police, Local Authority teams, solicitors and partner agencies
- Managing complex tenancy breaches and challenging behaviour
- Identifying ASB hotspots, trends and community tensions
- Contributing to early intervention and community safety initiatives
- Using CRM/case management systems to maintain accurate records (beneficial)
- Working within a social housing environment (beneficial)
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone confident, resilient and experienced in managing ASB and tenancy enforcement cases independently.
You’ll need:
- Strong ASB case management experience
- Experience attending court and preparing legal cases
Evidence‑based case management skills
Knowledge of Renting Homes (Wales) Act Confidence handling complex cases and challenging conversations
Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
Good organisational skills and accurate record keeping
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
Immediate availability (within 1 week)
