Housing Options provide assistance, and the Council's corporate duty to help clients who are homeless or under threat of becoming homeless. The service provides assistance to often vulnerable people when they are at greatest need.
About the jobThe post holder will be responsible for coordinating the staff under the prison pathway. They will work closely with prison and probation partners to monitor demand, identify emerging pressures and ensure an effective service response. Further, The post holder will look to attend regular meetings with relevant partners to ensure that the pathway is working effectively and continue to coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth journey for clients exiting a custodial setting.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe post holder will need to have; team-working skills, the ability to produce innovative solutions and be forward-thinking to help develop the service. The post holder must be able to liaise with partner organisations in order to develop the pathway.
Experience of homeless legislation and working with the public will be an advantage. You may be required to work until 19:00 hours to meet the demands of a very busy service.
